The following is an overview of the currently available Qt Solutions. The list will regularly be updated with new components and tools. Utilities

  This component adds a convenient API to do animations in Qt. Note: experimental.

  The QtBrowserPlugin solution is useful for implementing plugins for web browser.

• CORBA Framework

  The QtCorba class provides the means to integrate the Qt event loop with the event loop of CORBA.

  The QtLockedFile class extends QFile with advisory locking functions.

  The QtService component is useful for developing Windows services and Unix daemons.

  The QtSingleApplication component provides support for applications that can be only started once per user.

  The Qt SOAP project provides basic web service support with version 1.1 of the SOAP protocol.

• Qt State Machine Framework  (Updated!)  (Open Source LGPL Edition available.)

  This component adds an API for creating hierarchical finite state machines. Note that this solution is experimental and work in progress: No backwards compatibility (source nor binary) is provided.

  Provided in Qt 4.0 and later in the QReadWriteLock class.

• Shared Memory

  Provided in Qt 4.4 and later in the QSharedMemory class.

• SSL Socket  

  Provided in Qt 4.3 and later in the QSSLSocket class.

• Translation Preview Tool

  Provided in Qt 4.2 and later as part of the Qt Linguist tool.

• Undo/Redo Framework

  Provided in Qt 4.2 and later in Qt's Undo Framework.

• Unit Test Library (QtTestLib)

  Provided in Qt 4.1 and later in the QTestLib framework.

• Wizard

  Provided in Qt 4.3 and later in the QWizard class.

• XEmbed

  Provided in Qt 4.0 and later in the QX11EmbedWidget and QX11EmbedContainer classes.
